The double, initiated by Instar de Reve in the Prix de Beaune Handicap Hurdle under Nicolas Gauffenic, brought to 5 George's winners from his last 6 runners. Juvenile Le Blavet followed up in the Prix d'Aix, a conditions hurdle, the same afternoon. The five winners have amassed over £200,000 in earnings, the sort of sum only the likes of Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson can achieve from multiple winners in an afternoon.
