Dairy Partners Championship

 

West Midlands Area sponsor Dairy Partners is offering £1,000 to the owner of the horse that scores the most points in a series of 26 races, commencing at Knightwick Races on November 14th 2021 and finishing at the Albrighton & Woodland (South) meeting on Monday June 2nd 2022.

The Championship is open to ANY HORSE running in these qualifying events which includes all the Mens, Ladies and Mixed Opens which take place in the Area plus other selected events (See the list of qualifying races below).

Points in these qualifying races are – 1st – 7 points/2nd – 5 points/3rd – 3 points/4th – 1 point

The annual Hunter Chase at Worcester on Friday 24th May, provides an additional opportunity for horses to bolster their chances of securing this prize. This has normally been restricted to horses qualified with West Midlands packs, but has been extended this year so whichever Hunt your horse has been qualified with you are eligible to run if your horse finishes 1st or 2nd in one of the 26 nominated races.

Scoring for Hunter Chase – 1st – 12 points/2nd – 7 points/3rd – 5 points/4th – 3 points.

Cotswold Vale Farmers – Ladies Open (Race 3) and Mens Open (Race 5)
North Cotswold – Mixed Open (Race 3) and Mares Conditions (Race 4)
Worcestershire – Ladies Open (Race 3) and Mens Open (Race 4)
Berkeley – Mens Open (Race 5) and Ladies Open (Race 6)

Gwillam’s Annual Open Hunters Chase at Worcester (Friday 22nd May)

The winning horse will be identified as soon as possible after the final meeting of the season and connections will be invited to attend the Champions Awards Ball at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday 26th June 2022, where the Award will be presented (date & venue tbc).
