Award-winning private medical practitioners Concierge Medical are venturing into the racing world for the first time through a partnership with Andoversford Races.
The private GP practice, which offers home or business visits, has a set of membership benefits designed for busy private or business clients in the Cotswolds and Three Counties, and sees a clear match in the audience attending Point-to-Point races to its own.
The practice will lend its name to the final event of the day, which has won itself a fine reputation for producing top flight winners. In 2016, Fergal O’Brien’s Poetic Rhythm launched a career that has included the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle, whilst last year’s winner Eurobot was subsequently sold for a six figure sum and has since won at Cork.
“Our clients are busy people who recognize the importance of good health, both for themselves and their colleagues,” commented Kat Carrick, Managing Director of Concierge Medical. “We offer the opportunity to meet them at their place of work if appropriate. We could even assess them at the races, although we hadn’t planned a surgery at Andoversford!”
“This partnership just shows the versatility of racing to afford businesses of every shape and description access to the racing audience,” added Peter McNeile, Chairman of the Andoversford Races committee. “Andoversford has assembled an impressive range of premium businesses in retail, automotive and the service sector to grow the appeal of this engaging and appealing event, which is right at the heart of our British racing heritage.”
